Our first 12 months of weddings - wow wow wow!
Histon Manor has just concluded its very first wedding season, hosting five exceptional wedding receptions over the past 12 months.
We are so proud to have quickly become one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Cambridgeshire. Despite offering only five weddings receptions per year, we have already become the top-viewed venue in the county on the luxury wedding site Cocoweddings.com, despite significant competition from established venues.
Each wedding reception at Histon Manor has been wonderfully unique, reflecting the personalities and tastes of each couple. The events ranged from a luxurious wedding for 250 international guests, complete with London caterers and silver service staff, to a gorgeous Scottish-themed celebration with a ceilidh, an Indian Nikah ceremony, and a fabulous family affair full of glamour for a couple with roots in both Histon and Cottenham. Another memorable celebration was a picturesque local Histon wedding. The bride, who was brought up in the village, made a stunning entrance as she walked hand-in-hand with her groom through the medieval church gate into the manor after her ceremony at nearby St. Andrew's Church.
The beautiful blend of tradition and each unique approach to the events, made for unforgettable days and we were very proud to play a small part in these happy occasions. Wishing all our wonderful couples the very best for their exciting futures.
Histon Manor would like to thank the local community for their support during this new venture. All income continues to be reinvested into the ongoing restoration of the gardens and to raise funds for charity.
