Histon Manor announces their 2025 Charity of the Year.

Histon Manor is proud to announce that Break will be the beneficiary of its fundraising efforts for 2025.

Histon Manor has been committed to supporting a wide range of local causes through its charity events and fundraising initiatives, raising over £15,000 to date. It’s become a welcoming hub for community engagement, hosting successful charity events each year such as valuation days, village Dahlia shows, and tea and garden parties. In addition to its own fundraising efforts, the Manor has also been proud to support and host events for local charities such as Hi Friends and play a part in the Histon and Impington Open Garden events.

For 2025, Histon Manor is taking a new approach focusing its fundraising efforts on a single charity—Break—to ensure a more focused and impactful contribution. Break works across East Anglia to make life better for children and young people growing up in care and those with complex needs. The charity is well-known for its innovative fundraising initiatives, such as the popular art sculpture trails across the city which saw Cows about Cambridge in 2021 and giraffes take over the streets for Cambridge Standing Tall in 2024.

Histon Manor has set a minimum fundraising target of £5,000 for Break in 2025 and is dedicated to raising both funds and awareness for this important cause.

Upcoming Event Highlights

1. Snowdrop Open Day – Saturday 8th of February, 2025: A chance to enjoy the first signs of spring with snowdrops throughout the Manor’s grounds.

2. Daffodil Open Day – March 22nd, 2025. A spectacular display of daffodils. Over 1,500 bulbs have been planted annually for the past four years.

3. Village Dahlia Show TBC – September 2025 (date to be confirmed): A popular event celebrating the best dahlia displays from local growers with fun village stalls and

games.

Corporate Involvement

Histon Manor is proud to donate 10% of all corporate revenue from its events business to Break. As an exclusive venue for corporate board meetings, strategy days, andgarden parties, the Manor provides a unique setting for businesses to gather while giving back to the community.
